A DAA file is an image of a CD or DVD. Normally, in order to use a DVD on your computer, you would need to have the DVD in your disk drive. But there are programs known as Virtual CD software that can use image files such as DAA as a kind of virtual CD that can be played on a virtual CD drive with the program. There are few programs that actually use DAA files, however. Therefore, in order to use a DAA file in place of the actual physical CD, you may need to change it to a more compatible format such as ISO or BIN. Visit a website that has a program capable of using DAA files. A good example is “Power Iso.” (See “Additional Resources,” below.) Click on the download link.
