How Do You Center Yourself Using Meditation & Creative Visualization?
Your mind has the power to not only heal your body, but to shape your life as well. Now you can release your stress and create a better life for yourself through meditation and creative visualization. Before beginning it is important to stress the importance of patience. When beginners first start learning to meditate, they often find that the mind doesn’t always want to focus. When the mind starts to wander (and it will), don’t get angry or upset, simply relax and will your mind to release it random thoughts and refocus on the technique. First, find a quiet and comfortable place to meditate. Many people envision sitting Indian style with their legs crossed when they think of meditation. If this is comfortable for you, then by all means, do it. Personally, I sit in my favorite old rocking chair. Where and how you sit (or lay) isn’t really that important.
