How do you celebrate Wiccan holidays with young children?

Mabon is pretty much the Wiccan Thanksgiving isn’t it? Think of some Thanksgiving type activities. Making corn dollies is a good idea. Or making a horn of plenty out of paper mache. Or look through some craft magazines…a lot of them will come out with special “autumn craft” issues in the next couple of months. As for other holidays…well, Samhain is easy. Trick or treating, making jack o lanterns, all that good stuff. Yule is also easy…a lot of my Wiccan friends still do the Christmas (or in this case Yule) tree and still do the Santa Claus game with their children. Imbolc I really don’t have much of a clue…Eostra, another easy one, do the Eostra eggs and all. Beltane is fairly simple too. Litha…well, in a lot of trads that holiday is also one to celebrate the fairies and one thing that one group I know of did was make fairy masks. Just a few ideas off the top of my head.
