How Do You Celebrate Peanut Butter Lovers Month?
If you love peanut butter, you aren’t the only one. There are so many peanut butter lovers across the nation, that there is now an entire month of celebration. What began as a week long celebration for this little nut in 1941 grew to the entire month of March in 1974. Roasted, raw or pureed, it’s time to spread a bit of peanut butter joy. Make some simple bird feeders to share the joy of peanut butter lovers month with your winged friends. Tie a string loop to the top of a pine cone and then coat it with a layer of peanut butter. Sprinkle the peanut butter with birdseed and hang the pine cone where you can watch the birds feast. Get creative with whole, in-the-shell peanuts. Use scraps of paper, wiggly eyes, pipe cleaners and other craft supplies to make peanut people and peanut pets. Keep them on display all month in celebration. Play with your food and make peanut butter clay. Mix some smooth peanut butter with some powdered milk and honey until it reaches a clay-like consistency. Ad
