How Do You Celebrate Employee Appreciation Day?
You may not be aware, but March 9th is Employee Appreciation Day. For you employers out there, here are some tips to help you show your appreciation for your employees/staff. Personally thank each of your employees for their contributions. You could do this verbally; however, you might have a bigger impact if you wrote thank you notes to each and every one of them, making sure they are personal with specifics of why you are thankful for that specific employee. If you don’t have time to do this, enlist your managers or visit the resources below. Bring in coffee, donuts, and fruit for breakfast. Most employees LOVE to get special treats and if you bring them in the morning, it just starts the day off right. If you have employees with special dietary needs, make sure to include them by bringing something they can have too. Create unique award certificates.
