Pokemon FireRed has many different ways of encountering and capturing Pokemon not found in previous games. One of the rarest, Deoxys, only appears once in the game and requires a special process to locate. The shapeshifting Pokemon is very valuable to trainers due to its rarity and ability to use different forms in combat. Download the Aurora Ticket through the Mystery Gift. Talk to the Sailor in front of Seagallop Ferries and choose to travel to Birth Island. Follow the moving rock using the shortest path possible. If you follow incorrectly, the puzzle will reset. Deoxys will appear once the puzzle is complete. Wear him down through combat with your Pokemon and then use a Pokeball item to capture him. Deoxys is very good at breaking out of Pokeballs, so use a Master Ball if you are unable to capture him with the basic Pokeball.
