How Do You Care For Miniature Tree Roses?
Miniature rose trees add a touch of color and grandeur to any garden. Rose trees are cultivated to have the shape of a tree instead of the standard rose shrub. Rose trees are slightly difficult to care for, since they are prone to pests and diseases like other roses, and they must be protected from the cold and sun. Dig a hole at least 6 inches wider and deeper than the pot the tree roses are in. Add one part each peat moss and perlite to soil. Place the plant in the hole at the same depth as it is in the pot. Transplant in the evening or in cloudy weather so that the plants avoid direct sunlight. Gently place the soil mix around the root. Water well. Add a thick covering of mulch.
