Properly bonded fusion hair extensions look completely natural when properly installed, cared for and maintained. However, compared to traditional hair extensions, fusion hair requires a different method of care. Schedule regular appointments with your hairstylist for trims, tightening and the addition of new bonds. Depending on the method of fusion used and proper care these appointments are usually scheduled every 2 to 3 months. Comb hair with a wide tooth comb starting at the ends and work your way up to the scalp. Follow up by brushing with a natural bristle brush using the same method.
