Crystal stemware, or fine crystal wine glasses, are extremely thin and fragile. Crystal stemware adds an elegant touch to parties or at dinner during special occasions. It would not be difficult to accidentally break one of these delicate glasses, so they must be maintained with caution. Proper care and handling of these glasses can protect them for future use in many dinner parties to come. Use a very small amount of a mild dish soap on a soft clean cloth or sponge and warm water to gently wash each glass individually. It shouldn’t lather much as you only need a drop of dish soap smaller than a dime to get three to four glasses clean. Rinse each piece of stemware thoroughly in warm, not hot, water.
