How Do You Care For An Indoor Tropical Plant?

0

Indoor tropicals can add so much beauty and enjoyment to a home. But most folks are afraid to keep them, as the experiences tend to be always a dying tropical plant rather than a healthy, happy and thriving one. Here is some basic care instructions that I’ve found to be quite helpful to care for an indoor tropical plant which is also keeping mine alive and healthy for quite some time now. Place your tropical plant by a window so it can receive indirect light. Too much light, or direct light could burn it. Rather, indirect gives it just the right amount of sunshine. Water it only when the soil appears dry on the top. This could be as little as once per week. I wouldn’t suggest more than this, as too much water could cause root rot and end up killing it. Make sure the water you place in the pot is room temperature. Too cold or too hot could shock your tropical plant. Purchase a plastic tray to place under the pot to catch leaking water. This way, you save your floors from becoming staine
