How Do You Care For A Palm Bamboo Plant?
“Hi, this is Yolanda Vanveen and we’re going to talk about how to care for a Palm Bamboo plant. Now there’s many different types of bamboos and there’s many different types of palm trees. But a Palm Bamboo is a variety of bamboo that has leaves kind of like a palm tree. Now whereas most bamboo plants do really well outside, a Palm Bamboo in colder climate does much better as a house plant. And it grows naturally in a jungle environment where it’s in part shade that has larger trees above it. So if you put it in a real sunny spot or real sunny window sometimes you can kill it ’cause it’ll just get fried in the sun. So if you give it a little bit of part shade or little bit of filtered shade, it’ll do much better. And they’re really easy to start. Let me show you. So just like any other bamboo, it’s just a root and so you can break it off from another plant of if you have a friend that has a plant, you can get a start that way and then you just want to make sure that the roots are covere
