The Majesty Palm is a popular house plant. It is a great floor plant that can quickly grow to 10 feet tall. The tall green fronds of foliage make this plant a great addition to any room. With proper care, the Majesty Palm will flourish in your home. Ensure that the Majesty Palm is potted properly. A 14 to 16 inch pot is usually sufficient. If the roots are bound, repot in a larger pot. Add about 1 to 2 inches of pea gravel to the bottom of the pot to provide proper drainage. Roots that sit in water will rot. Select a location for the Majesty Palm that gets medium natural light. This can usually be achieved by placing the pot within about 5 to 8 feet of a window.
