Chinese Water Dragons are native to Asia. These lizards come in a range of greens with slanted stripes of green or turquoise. Their bellies are white or pale yellow, and their throats can be yellow, orange, or peach colored. The Chinese Water Dragon will make a good pet if you follow these steps. Choose a cage that holds at least 60 gallons. It must be at least 6 feet long and two feet deep. Use pet carpet or Astroturf as substrate. Avoid using gravel or wood chips, since these can injure the water dragon’s stomach. Keep the humidity at 80 percent. This humidity level helps the water dragon shed its coat.
