Each campground is on a first-come, first-served basis. Before heading to a campground, check on the road conditions at the visitors’ center. There is an eight person limit per campsite. Fruita is the first campground. There is one campsite in Fruita that accepts reservations. There is a $10 per night fee with a dump station available, restrooms and potable water. You will also find nightly entertainment in the amphitheater during the summer. Cathedral Valley and Cedar Mesa are the two other campgrounds. They are more basic in that they only offer pit toilets, tables and fire grates. Four-wheel drive is recommended for reaching Cathedral Valley
