Birding is a popular hobby throughout North America. Both local birders and birders from out of town are interested in unusual species that may show up in a specified area. Many Audubon Society chapters and bird clubs dispense this information free via Rare Bird Alerts (RBAs). Log on to the American Birding Association Web site at www.americanbirding.org. Click on Resources and then RBA Numbers. Look down the list until you find the RBA phone number you are interested in.
