Mailing an international package can be costly. That is why it is a smart idea to get several different quotes from various shipping companies before you send your package. While shipping services with one company may cost you a significant amount of money, you might be able to catch a great deal with one of the others. The United States Post Office, UPS and FedEx all have online calculators that offer estimated international shipping prices. Visit the USPS “Postage Price Calculator” website (see Resources). Choose the country to which you want to send your package in the “Select a Destination” drop-down menu. Select a flat rate service or choose the shape of your package to get an estimate based on weight.
