You may need to direct your browser to block certain websites if you deem the website to be inappropriate. Inappropriate sites may be categorized as such because of content or malicious behaviors such as phishing or downloading malware or viruses to your system. You can block a website by directing your router to block the site in your host file, or you can block the site directly in your browser. To block the site inside your host file, you must have your router’s IP address. This is separate from your computer’s IP address.
