How Do You Burn HP Recovery Disks?
Recovery discs contain the software and settings initially installed on your computer, including the programs, drivers, operating system and default settings. Recovery discs may be necessary if your computer crashes or you need to reformat your hard drive. These discs are often shipped along with your computer; however, it may be useful to create your own so that you have a replacement set handy. Insert an empty (blank) CD or CD-R into your CD drive. Click on the “Start” button on the bottom-left hand of your screen. This will open the “Start” menu. On the “Start” menu, scroll your cursor over the text entitled “All Programs.” This will expand the “Start” menu. On the “Start” menu, find the text entitled “Hewlett Packard.” This will again expand the “Start” menu.
