Microsoft Xbox 360 games are manufactured on dual-layered DVD-ROM discs (DVD+DL) that hold up to 8.5 GB of data. Prolonged use, and wear and tear from normal, daily use of your Xbox 360 games can cause scratches that prevent game play. Burning a backup copy of your original Xbox 360 game to a writable DVD+DL allows you to replace your copy if the original is lost, damaged or stolen. Turn on your computer and log in to your operating system. Open your web browser of choice and navigate to the website for the .ISO DVD burning software of your choice (such as CloneCD, DVD Decrypter or MagicISO). Download a DVD read/write program and open the installer when the download is finished. Install the program to your computer by following the instructions on your screen and restart your computer when installation is complete.
