Richard Garriott’s Tabula Rasa was a multiplayer online role-playing game for the PC. As of December 23, 2008, however, all game servers have been closed. The story of the game unfolds in the future on two separate planets, with humanity’s survivors attempting to fight off a group of antagonist aliens called the Bane. The game focused on real-time combat and character building through a tree of classes. You must begin the game as a Recruit. Gather experience points as you work your way through the game until you achieve Level 5 status. When you reach this level, select either the Soldier or the Specialist character template for your advancing character. Choose the Specialist template to focus on healing and repair; choose Soldier for combat skills. Spend skill points after each level-up to learn skills. Earn two skill points for each level-up.
