How Do You Build Rubber Band Powered Car?
Build this rubber band car from things already around the house. This rubber band powered car has a cardboard body, thumbtack wheels, and axles from a pen’s ink tube. The whole project can almost be done for for free (or perhaps just a little money). Step 1 Remove the ink tube from inside a pen. The best ink tubes to use are standard diameter and transparent. Blow the ink out into a paper cup to be thrown away. Carefully (without getting ink on anything) transfer the tube to the sink and allow a trickle of water to rinse through and down the drain until there is no more ink. Run a pipe cleaner through with dish soap to remove any remaining ink. Step 2 Get a 1 1/2 by 1 inch piece of cardboard (unbent) that is cut so that the 1-inch corrugations are running side to side across what will become the body of the car.
