How Do You Build Deer Hunting Blinds?
Building a hunting blind can be a huge asset while hunting for deer. Deer tend to be very skittish so acclimating them to your blind before the hunting season can be crucial. Ideally you should set up your blind one month before the hunting season begins. This will give deer time to get used to the new structure. Building a ground blind instead of a tree stand can be beneficial in a few different ways. With a ground blind you won’t have to worry about falling out of a tree, they’re fairly cheap to build, and you can construct one in an hour or two. Find a well-used game trail. Verify deer are using the trail by looking for deer signs on the game trail like hoof prints, deer droppings and deer rubs on the trees. Look for a sharp bend in the game trail.
