How Do You Build A Yard Fountain?
Yard fountains are focal points of your landscape. Build a fountain in your yard with patio pavers. Use a single vertical layer of pavers as an accent in your yard, or build the fountain with two or three side-by-layers to allow for seating along the top of each side. Patio pavers are uniform in size, so design the fountain with straight lines, as in a square or a rectangle. This will eliminate the need to cut the pavers and will make building your yard fountain even simpler. Excavate the section of ground where you plan to place your yard fountain. Remove the grass and any rock or root debris down to the soil level. Make sure that the area is level. Mix the mortar and spread a thin layer along the excavated ground. Lay a row of pavers along the outside perimeter of the mortar, pressing the pavers into the mortar. Apply a thin layer of mortar to the inside edge of each paver.
