How Do You Build A Wooden Skate Ramp?

0

If you live in an area that doesn’t have its own skateboard park it can be frustrating trying to find a place to skate and perfect your skills. If you are in need of a place to skate this might be a great time to learn how to construct your own skate ramp out of wood. Many skaters around the world are building their own ramps in their backyards so they can skate and work on their skills. Clean out a spot in the basement or a place in the garage to build and store your ramp from the cold and rain. Take one sheet of your 3/4″ plywood and lie it down on a flat surface like a floor or table. Get your pencil and lightly sketch a line up the right side of the board about 2 feet up. Sketch a second line going out to the left and stopping at the center of the board. Draw a third line up across the bottom of the plywood sheet. This will be the bottom of the ramp. Connect the top line to the bottom line by drawing a curved line. Cut along the lines you’ve drawn with your saw. Repeat this process
