How Do You Build A Wooden Marble Game?

0

Wooden marble mazes have been around for years due to their popularity. While you could buy one of these mazes in the store, even more fun is building your own maze. Fortunately that isn’t difficult to do. All you need are a few simple tools and a little creativity. This is a great project for kids too. Don’t forget your aggies and cat’s eyes. Cut the plywood to 18 inches square to create the base and set aside. From the plywood remnants, cut two strips 1/4 inch wide by 18 inches long. Cut two more strips 1/4 inch wide by 17 inches long. Glue the four strips around the perimeter of the board, arranging the shorter strips so there is an opening in the upper left-hand corner and another in the lower right-hand corner of your board. This is where the marble enters and exits your maze. Cut more strips of various lengths. Arrange these on the base until you have a maze pattern. Be sure to include dead ends and corners that would be more difficult to navigate. Adjust strips or cut more strip
