How Do You Build A Vintage Travel Trailer From A Shoe Box?
Learn how to build a unique model of a vintage travel trailer with that old shoe box! It’s a fun activity for the kids. Or just do it yourself so you can have a cool item for your office cubicle that everyone will envy! Wrap shoe box in foil (minus lid), tucking bottom edges under and securing with tape. Cut out pieces of black craft form for desired shapes of windows and door to trailer. Round off corners of pieces, if desired (adds authenticity). Cut out pieces of wax paper to match sizes and shapes of black foam windows. Cut these pieces slightly smaller. For the door’s window, cut a small circle of wax paper. Glue wax paper pieces to appropriate window or door, then glue each set to trailer in desired locations. Run edge of fingernail (or paper clip) randomly across wax paper to create a weathered look. Cut small piece of foil (or use scrap piece) and fold a couple of times to use as door handle. Glue to door in appropriate location. For tires, use shoe box lid (or other cardboard
