How Do You Build A Victorian Greenhouse?
Greenhouses provide protected areas outside for plants and seedlings. Some gardeners would like a greenhouse but do not have room in their yards for full-size buildings. Others admire the Victorian style and would enjoy a greenhouse reflecting the characteristics of that era. A miniature greenhouse made from recycled, vintage windows can meet both these needs. With some planning and effort, crafters with basic carpentry skills can create custom Victorian greenhouses to fit any backyard. Measure width and depth of the four matching windows. Cut the plywood into a rectangle. The short sides need to be equal to the window width and the long side that width plus 4 inches. Thoroughly sand all surfaces of the plywood. Wipe the surfaces clean with a cloth. Attach the table legs to the bottom of the plywood, placing each leg about 1 inch from the outside edges.
