How Do You Build A Uniform Light Box?

0

In order to get the best shot, it is important to properly light your subject. Professional light boxes can be expensive to buy and difficult to move around. Fortunately, any photographer, professional or novice, can make his own light box in order to save money. Tape two foam boards together using gaffer’s tape. Make sure to tape the entire back of the board. Tape a third board on the other side of what will be the center board to create the top, back and bottom of the box. Attach the other two boards using the tape to create the sides of the box. Make sure the pieces are taped snugly together so no light can get through. You should now have a box with an open top. Screw the light bulbs into the lamps. Clip the lamps onto the sides of the box with the lights directed towards the back of the back. Face the open side of the box towards your subject so that the reflected light from the box lights your subject.
