Try as I might I cannot thing of one good reason to actually attempt to make or use a homemade tattoo gun. But apparently someone out there will benefit from this. Someone anticipating the need to make prison tattoos, get tattooed while underage, enrage one’s parents, or alienate anyone who happens to see your tattoo perhaps. For that reason here is a guide on how to build a tattoo gun. Whether or not you should make one, are a completely separate matter and ultimately your decision and responsibility. Take a mechanical pencil and remove the eraser from the back. Cut the eraser in half with the razor blade and use the screw or pin to poke a hole through the center of one of the halves. Cut off a length of guitar wire between 2 and 3 inches long. Bend the very tip, a few millimeters, at a 90 degree angle. Pass the long end of the wire through the hole in the eraser.
