How Do You Build A T-Shirt Cannon?
Making a T-shirt cannon will cost less than $100, and add to the fun of any sporting or special event. Shooting T-shirts or other small promotional items from the cannon will excite and entertain the crowd. Cut two sections of 3-foot long PVC pipe. Pipe must be 2 inches in diameter. Smooth rough edges with sand paper. Attach a PVC non-threaded cap to one piece of pipe. Measure the pipe 1 inch below cap bottom and mark. Measure the Schrader valve diameter. Select a drill bit of corresponding size. Drill PVC pipe over the previously measured mark. Smear PVC cement inside and around the hole, and onto the Schrader valve. Insert the Schrader valve into the PVC pipe, and push it through the opening. Attach the valve cap firmly from the outside of the pipe. Attach the end cap to the pipe using PVC cement.
