How Do You Build A Storage Shed Ramp?
Storage sheds offer protection from the elements for valuable tools and equipment while at the same time freeing up storage space inside the house or garage. Sheds provide the ideal place for storing lawn mowers, landscaping equipment and other outdoor tools. Most sheds are built on a raised foundation such as deck piers or concrete slabs. Building a ramp to the entrance of the shed gives the user easier access to everything stored inside. Use a measuring tape to determine the height of the ramp you’ll need. Measure from the ground to the floor of the shed’s entrance door. Use a pencil or chalk to draw the sides on the 3/4-inch sheet of plywood. Start by measuring down the long edge of the plywood sheet. Make a mark at six feet. This will be the bottom edge of one side of the ramp. Use the T-square to measure the height in inches needed for the ramp directly above the previous mark and make another mark. Draw a straight line from that mark down to the corner of the plywood sheet formin
