How Do You Build A Star Wars Lightsaber?
Lightsabers come from the Star Wars movie franchise and are the weapons of Jedi Knights. The weapons use a crystal and energy to create a beam of light that cuts through almost all objects. It’s impossible to make a real working lightsaber, but you can make a mock-up of a hilt using metal or PVC pipe. Make your lightsaber look any way you want. You can arrange the grip in any fashion, just make sure it’s comfortable to your hand. Super glue one end cap to the bottom of the pipe. Glue the other cap, upside down, onto the other end of the pipe. Decide what type of grip you want. The grip goes on the bottom third of the pipe. Cut the adhesive rubber and apply it to the pipe to match your decided pattern. Super glue the knob to the pipe, somewhere above the grip. The knob acts as the on/off switch. Wrap your hands around the hilt how you would hold it if it were an actual blade to help you decide where to put the knob. Position the knob where it is reachable, but can’t be pushed accidental
