Snowboarders are often looking to transition their skateboarding skills to the snow and a funbox is one way to do just that. If you’re lucky enough to live in a terrain where snow and hills abound, building your own funbox can add that spark to the winter months and the sport of snowboarding. Choose how large you want the box frame to be. It should fit nicely in the area you want to build it, leaving enough room for the snowboarder to approach and jump from the other end of the box. Decide what materials will be used to construct the box. Wood is likely the cheapest option, but anything that can safely hold the weight of a man can be used.
