How Do You Build A Simple Kite Out Of Trash Bags?

0

A kite is a fun toy for children and grown-ups alike. Whether you use it at the park, the beach, or just in your backyard, kites can provide hours of fun on windy days. Although store-bought kites can be in lots of fun colors, sometimes you just don’t have $10 or more to spend on a kite. A budget solution is to make your own simple and inexpensive kite out of ordinary trash bags. Cut open a large trash bag so that it is one layer. Cut out a diamond shape that is 2 feet tall and 1 foot wide in the middle. Cut a 2-foot-long piece of duct tape and stick it down the middle of the length of the trash bag diamond. Cut another piece of duct tape that is 1 foot long and stick it across the middle of the width of the diamond. Tape all of the edges of the trash bag diamond to allow it to keep its shape. Cut four pieces of lightweight craft string that are each about 8 inches long. Tape one of these pieces of string to each corner of the diamond. Bring the loose ends of all four pieces of string
