How do you build a shed ramp?
First you need to build a frame for it for the decking to sit on. Need to mount a 2×4 or 2×6 board that goes across the open on the door. Ofset this board down the height of the thinkness of the decking material that you will be using for the ramp top itself. It makes mouting look cleaner if you cut the front top of this board in the angle that the ramp will be heading. This will make it flush at the top. Then you will need 2×4 or 2×6 boards that will be along the sides of the frame. Then you need a board about every foot in between these sides. The sides and middle boards should be cut at angles at the top and bottom so the they mount flush with the top board and the ground. You can just toe-tail these boards to the top door way board. When this is done then just nail or screw the top decking boards down (ramp boards). I hope I explained that clear enough. Good luck.
