Measure your grill. You will want your island to look good with it and will want it to be about the same size as the grill. Cut four 2x4s to the desired height of the island minus a few inches (this depends on the diameter of the wheels you will attach at the island’s bottom). Now cut four 2x4s to the length you want your island to be–let’s say about three feet. Then cut four 2x4s for the islands depth, probably about 2 to 3 feet. Nail the 2x4s together so that they create the structure of the island. You should end up with a cube that is the size of the island you are building.
