How Do You Build A Photo Light Box?

0

If you sell items online or just want to improve your photography, a photo light box is a powerful tool. A light box makes photos crisper and cleaner. It helps diffuse the light on your subject to avoid harsh shadows or a washed-out appearance. There are commercially available light boxes and tents, but they can be expensive and you may need multiple sizes if you photograph a range of objects. A simple answer is to make your own. Choose a box large enough to set your item in with plenty of room around it. On three sides, use your ruler to draw a square, leaving a 1 inch allowance between the edge and your lines. Draw a square on the top of the box in the same way. Use your box cutter to cut the four squares out. Cut a strip of poster board to fit inside the box. It will need to drape from the back top edge to the front bottom edge in a gentle slope. Do not crease it. This will be the background for your photographs. Tape it to the top edge. Take two sheets of tissue paper and cover all
