When you’re a musician doing shows and selling CD’s, there are lots of mainstream connects that are sure to come your way, do you have all of their information? If you’re in the music industry, you should already know by now that it’s not what you know, it’s who you know. That being said, you must keep up with everyone’s contact info. The true art of networking and communicating is all in the contact numbers posted on those business cards they hand out. Get a binder or folder and start writing down all of the names and numbers of your networking buddies. This will come in handy when you have to promote your music all over again, you wont have to find new connects.
