Since a miniature doll house is a scaled-down version of a real house, you can build some of its components basically the same way. A real stairway is composed of three basic parts: stringers, treads and risers. You need to build a miniature doll house stairway with these same parts — just on a smaller scale, of course. Know that the 3 parts of a stairway are: the stringers- the base/sides of the stairway; the treads- the parts you walk on; and the risers- the wood pieces that are installed upright to make the “back” of each stair.
