How Do You Build A Mini Skate Ramp?
Skateboarders know that going to a skate park can get expensive. They also know that skateboarding in public places can get you in trouble. To avoid these inconveniences, many skateboarders opt to build their own ramps. Here are some plans to build a skateboard mini half pipe. Sketch a curve on one of the 3/4-inch plywood pieces that is 3 feet by 5 feet. These are going to be the sides of your ramp. Lay the plywood on the ground with the 5-foot side horizontal. Start the curve 1 foot in from the upper left-hand corner and end it 1 1/2 inches above the bottom right corner. Use the string to help you make a smooth curve. Tie a loop in one end for the pencil and tie the other end to a nail or have a helper hold it while you draw the circle. Adjust the radius of your circle to make the top of the ramp steeper and the bottom flatter. Cut along the line with the jigsaw.
