How Do You Build A Mini Launch Ramp?
Mini-launch ramps for skateboarders are practical for parents and children because they are small and can be moved around and stored away fairly easily. They also are a good starter ramp for younger skateboarders and are fun for all ages. Mini-launch ramps can be purchased at sporting goods stores but can be expensive. With some 2 x 4s and plywood you can build your own mini-launch ramp for a lot less money. All materials for the job can be purchased at your local hardware store and lumberyard. Make the long side of the triangle into a slope at whatever pitch you want the face of the ramp to be. To cut the pitch side you can use a jigsaw for the best results. To ensure both sides are identical, cut the first one and then trace it onto the plywood for the second one. Drill a 2 by 4 in all three corners of the triangles using
