How Do You Build A Lightsaber With A Glowing Blade?
A lightsaber with a glowing blade is easy to build. The supplies can be purchased cheaply at hardware, home improvement and craft stores. Make several so there will be enough for everyone. Remove the stopper from the top of the sink drain. It should lift right out. Glue the stopper onto the bottom of the sink drain. Add a black rubber gasket, if you like, for effect. Paint the plastic tube with glow paint. There are several different colors of glow paint available. Purchase a package of assorted colors and make several different colored lightsabers. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for surface preparation, application of paint and drying time. Glue the plastic tube into the open end of the pipe, where the stopper was removed. Make sure the paint has dried completely before gluing the tube to the drain. Keep the plastic tube straight on the drain until it dries. Add stickers and rubber gaskets or any other type of decoration to jazz it up.
