For enterprising kids who wish to make some money selling lemonade, learning how to build a lemonade stand out of wood is the first step in a profitable business. With scrap lumber, some simple tools and adult supervision, you can make a quality, long-lasting lemonade stand in one afternoon. Cut two 3-foot lengths of 2-by-4-inch wooden board using an electric saw. Also, cut four 2-foot lengths and two 5-foot lengths of 2-by-4-inch board. Finally, cut four 4-foot lengths of 2-by-4-inch board. These pieces of wood will form the frame of the lemonade stand. Lay out two of the 2-foot boards and two of the 4-foot boards on the ground to form a rectangle. Nail them together at the corners.
