Step 2 Chew your food well to help release the enzymes that aid in digestion. Step 3 Cut down stimulants such as tea and coffee, reduce or elimanate depressants such as alcohol. Step 4 Avoid over use of antibiotics or antacids. Unless prescribed by a doctor do not take antibiotics. Antibiotics can destroy the useful bacteria that help to eliminate toxins. Step 5 Take a dose of activated charcoal. A dose of activated charcoal taken twice a week can absorb toxins.
