How Do You Build A Frame For Targets On A Gun Range?
Shooting guns–be they high-powered rifles, small rimfire guns or pistols–is one of many enthusiasts’ favorite pastimes. Because of the danger of discharging firearms within a close distance to others within a city or town, it is necessary to have a gun range at which shooting enthusiasts can comfortably and safely fire their weapons. At the gun range, it becomes necessary to build outdoor frames for targets. Luckily this is an easy task that anyone can do. Use the posthole diggers or auger to dig a hole on either side of the backstop at which people will be shooting. If there is no backstop or it is too large, simply dig two holes, 8 feet apart from one another. Make them 3 feet deep and 6 inches in diameter. Pour half a bag of Quikrete into each hole, then place a 6-foot-long, 4-by-4-inch post into the hole.
