The fighter is the most iconic of all the Dungeons and Dragons character classes, and forms the backbone of any adventuring party. Whether an unscrupulous brigand, law abiding knight, or simple town guard, each fighter character is a powerful warrior capable of dishing out and taking in a large amount of damage and still keep on fighting. While not known for their great feats of intelligence or diplomacy, the fighter is a necessary member of the group and can be just as fun to play as any other character class.
