How Do You Build A Dog Gate?
Does your dog get into rooms where it doesn’t belong? Does it climb on your good furniture? How can you keep your dog out of unwanted spaces while you are at work? Easy. Build a simple dog gate using PVC pipe. Here’s how. Measure the doorway where you want to put the gate. You will need to buy two pieces of PVC pipe about four inches less than the width of your doorway. You will also need two pieces of PVC pipe of the height you want your gate to be. (You can buy long PVC pipes and cut them.) PVC pipe is available at places like Home Depot and Lowe’s. Use a PVC cutter to cut the pipes to the proper lengths. Then connect them with four 90-degree PVC corners. Now, you have a frame for your dog gate. Cut mesh cloth, wire screen, or even an old blanket or sheet to fit the inside of your doggie gate frame.
