• Find a large, open space that has a lot of room for you and your dog to run the course. • To begin, you will need to create some obstacles. Build a jump: there are two ways that you can build your own dog jump. • Take two chairs that are identical. Then take a broomstick. Line up the two chairs back to back and then separate them by about three feet. • Put the broomstick through them to make a jump. • Get PVC pipes and make a jump from those. There are many websites available if you want step by step instructions for that. • Make weaves (a type of obstacle dogs weave through). You can make those from PVC pipes as well but they are more time consuming. The best way to do this is to buy very large, tall orange cones, line them up in a line and have your dog weave through.
