Step 1 Determine size needed (single or double man blind) length by width by height. Step 2 Treat the lumber with weather treatment to protect against Mother Nature. Step 3 Build a floor base using a minimum of 2-by-4 frames and cross bracing on 16-inch centers. The floor should be a minimum of half-inch plywood. Be sure to check that the base is square. Step 4 Follow standard framing practices on exterior walls. Again, use a minimum of 2-by-4s for your uprights and cross bracing. If using plywood, walls should be at least half-inch plywood. Step 5 Add proper bracing to the four walls, the roof can be attached directly to the top joist. Again, half-inch minimum plywood is recommended. A slight slant to the roof is preferable. Step
