How Do You Build A 14 X 11 Patio?
Building a backyard patio made of stone pavers is a home-improvement project that adds beauty, functionality and value to your home. What makes it an even more attractive option for most weekend do-it-yourselfers is that most anyone can tackle this project. As long as you can perform average backyard physical tasks, you can build a patio and get professional looking results. Measure out your patio area. Using a tape measure, lay out the rectangle of the patio’s finished dimensions (11 feet by 14 feet). Use four stakes to mark this area, driving them into the ground a foot or so past each corner so that you will have some room to work as you finish the edges of the patio. Tie string between each of the stakes and pull it tight so that it does not sag. You will end up with strings forming a rectangular perimeter around your patio area and also strings running from corner to corner.
